Senior Sales Representative

A sales representative is responsible for selling products and services by identifying leads, contacting customers, and building relationships. Their duties include presenting products, negotiating contracts, achieving sales targets, and providing after-sales support. Success in this role requires strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Core responsibilities
- Lead generation: Prospect for new clients through methods like cold calling, email, networking, and client referrals.
- Customer engagement: Contact new and existing customers to understand their needs and present product/service solutions.
- Sales process: Guide customers through the entire sales cycle, from initial pitch to closing deals and finalizing contracts.
- Product knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the products or services to answer questions and highlight benefits.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Sales targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and goals.
- Reporting: Track sales activity, analyze performance metrics, and provide reports to management.

- Communication and interpersonal skills: Effectively communicate with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
- Negotiation and persuasion: Persuade potential customers and negotiate prices and terms to close deals.
- Customer service: Provide excellent support and resolve customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
- Self-motivation: Be persistent, driven, and able to work independently to achieve sales targets.
- Industry knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is often preferred, though not always required.
