Job Description – Area Sales Manager (Jind, Panipat)

About the Role:

Inventant Education is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to drive school book sales in the regions of Jind and Panipat. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in educational sales and strong relationships with schools, distributors, and book sellers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for assigned districts.
  • Visit schools, meet decision-makers, and present the product catalogue effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school principals, teachers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain the academic value of the books.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights.
  • Ensure timely order collection, delivery coordination, and payment follow-up.
  • Organise and support promotional activities, book exhibitions, and academic workshops.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and maintain CRM records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in school book sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of the local market (Jind, Panipat).
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly.
  • Basic computer proficiency for reporting and communication.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Existing network with schools and educational distributors.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
