Our Health Food Café is looking for a proactive and energetic Assistant Manager to join our growing team. If you enjoy leading people, creating a positive work environment, and helping customers make healthier choices, we'd love to meet you

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Customer Service & Experience

  • Ensure high-quality, friendly customer service at all times
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Maintain a welcoming and clean environment in the café

2. Team Supervision

  • Assist the Café Manager in leading and motivating staff
  • Train new employees on service standards and café procedures
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage

3. Daily Operations

  • Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing routines
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed

4. Sales & Growth Support

  • Support promotional activities and in-store marketing
  • Encourage upselling and maintain high product knowledge
  • Assist in managing POS systems, cash handling, and sales reports

5. Quality Control

  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation
  • Monitor customer feedback and recommend improvements

6. Administrative Support

  • Maintain records, reports, and documentation as required
  • Assist in managing budgets, cost control
  • Experience in café/restaurant management or a similar role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for healthy food and wellness
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays
