Position: Human Resources (HR) Intern

Location: Remote, India (HQ – California, USA)
Duration: 4 Months (Full-time Internship)
Post-Internship Offer: Full-time HR Associate role based on performance (Salary: up to ₹4 LPA)
Start Date: Immediate / Within 2 Weeks
Eligibility: Freshers or 3–12 months of HR/Admin/People Ops experience

Role Overview:

As an HR Intern, you will support the entire recruitment and people operations cycle—right from hiring coordination to onboarding, documentation, and internal culture building. You'll work directly with the founding team and help build strong people systems in a high-growth startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates
  • Post job openings on portals, update databases (LinkedIn, ATS, Notion, etc.)
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, prepare documentation, and set up communication channels
  • Maintain and update employee records and internship logs
  • Coordinate internal team meetings and maintain calendars
  • Help with HR policies, employee handbook, and culture-building initiatives
  • Support founder in tracking internship feedback, exit notes, and performance logs
  • Organize team-building activities and wellness check-ins
  • Use tools like Slack, Notion, Excel/Google Sheets, and email for communication and records

Requirements:

  • 0–1 year of experience in HR, admin, or talent acquisition
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Suite, LinkedIn, Notion, and Slack
  • Interest in startup culture, people management, and mental health as a domain
  • Ability to work independently and manage time well in a remote setup

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of HR processes, recruitment pipelines, or internship management
  • Familiarity with tools like Zoho People, Freshteam, or any ATS
  • Experience working in startups or mental health/wellbeing domains
