As a Technical Support Executive for AutoCAD, you will play a dual role supporting both the presales and postsales phases of the customer journey. You'll act as a trusted advisor— guiding potential customers during the evaluation process and ensuring successful adoption, implementation, and optimization post-purchase.

Key Responsibilities

Presales Support

 Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations for clients across industries (e.g., AEC, MEP, manufacturing).

 Analyze customer requirements and provide solutions architecture using AutoCAD and related Autodesk products.

 Collaborate with the sales team to respond to RFI/RFPs, highlight key technical differentiators, and build trust with decision-makers.

 Recommend optimal licensing models, system requirements, and integrations with other software tools.

Postsales Support

 Assist with installation, activation, and configuration of AutoCAD and related plugins or tools.

 Provide technical troubleshooting for performance issues, software errors, drawing corruption, or compatibility problems.

 Deliver user onboarding and training for new clients, including best practices, shortcuts, layer standards, and dynamic block usage.

 Help customers migrate custom settings and templates during version upgrades or platform transitions.  Serve as a bridge between the customer and Autodesk technical teams for escalations and feature requests.

Skills & Tools

 Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and familiar with verticals like AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD Electrical.

 Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills (both technical and non technical audiences).

 Familiarity with Autodesk ecosystem: Desktop App, Autodesk Account, BIM 360, Revit, Civil 3D.

 Use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Zoom).

 Knowledge of licensing models: Named user, network licensing, subscription-based plans.
