Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Business Development Specialist. The individual will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving strategic partnerships. Additionally, the role involves analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Role Purpose:
The
Business Development Manager
will drive the company's growth by identifying, developing, and executing opportunities to expand our footprint through
kiosk installations in apartment complexes, corporate parks, and high-footfall areas
. The role involves building strong partnerships with property owners, franchisees, and channel partners while ensuring a
customer-centric approach
to business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Expansion & Location Development
- Identify and evaluate new kiosk opportunities across apartments, corporate offices, and community hubs.
- Negotiate partnerships and lease terms with apartment associations, RWAs, and real estate developers.
- Conduct market mapping and feasibility analysis for each potential site.
- Manage end-to-end kiosk launch process — from site selection to operational handover.
2. Franchise & Partnership Growth
- Identify, onboard, and manage franchise partners to expand kiosk presence across target geographies.
- Develop and execute franchise business models, ROI frameworks, and support systems.
- Build long-term relationships with strategic partners for continuous pipeline development.
3. Customer-Centric Business Development
- Understand customer needs within residential and workplace ecosystems to drive engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure localized offerings.
- Use feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve customer experience and business performance.
4. Revenue & Performance Management
- Own and deliver monthly and quarterly growth targets (locations, revenue, and partnerships).
- Track performance of newly launched kiosks and optimize based on business analytics.
- Prepare reports and business reviews for management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong background in
B2B business development, real estate partnerships, or food-tech expansion
. - Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research and financial modeling.
- Customer-first mindset with hands-on experience in operational execution.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Background:
- 3–7 years of experience in business development roles in
food-tech / F&B / kiosk / cloud kitchen / QSR / franchise management
industries. - Candidates from
HungerBox, Kuzina, Dil Foods, Rebel Foods, Swiggy Access, or similar
business models will be preferred. - MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is desirable.
