Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive
Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports To: Business Development Manager / Head of Sales
Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, generating revenue, and driving market expansion. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Strategy
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth goals.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and client needs.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email outreach, events, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales deals effectively.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure excellent project delivery.
- Provide market feedback and insights to support product/service improvement.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4–7+ years of proven experience in business development or sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and manage complex sales cycles.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
