Job Description: Business Development Manager Waste Recovery Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in waste heat recovery and boiler systems across industrial sectors ( steel, chemicals, etc.).
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Sales & Strategy Execution:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare and present proposals, technical solutions, and ROI analyses to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPC contractors, consultants, and plant managers.
  • Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with engineering, and proposal teams to ensure feasibility and profitability of proposed solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Report performance metrics and market feedback to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Energy/Environmental) or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in waste recovery, energy, or industrial solutions.
  • Strong understanding of waste heat recovery systems, boilers, and sustainability technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently in a field-based role.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in B2B industrial sales, especially in sectors like steel, or chemicals, boilers and heaters .
  • Familiarity with government regulations and incentives related to energy recovery and sustainability.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
