Job Description: Business Development Manager Waste Recovery Solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in waste heat recovery and boiler systems across industrial sectors ( steel, chemicals, etc.).
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Sales & Strategy Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and present proposals, technical solutions, and ROI analyses to clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPC contractors, consultants, and plant managers.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with engineering, and proposal teams to ensure feasibility and profitability of proposed solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM systems.
- Report performance metrics and market feedback to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Energy/Environmental) or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in waste recovery, energy, or industrial solutions.
- Strong understanding of waste heat recovery systems, boilers, and sustainability technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently in a field-based role.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in B2B industrial sales, especially in sectors like steel, or chemicals, boilers and heaters .
- Familiarity with government regulations and incentives related to energy recovery and sustainability.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
