About the Role:

We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager who thrives on scaling businesses and driving growth across diverse marketplaces. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in selling B2B technology product solutions, e-commerce enablement products, or digital transformation tools—and can strategically open new markets while nurturing key partnerships. This is an opportunity for someone who combines strong business acumen with a hands-on sales approach to build scalable, high-impact sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard strategic clients across domestic and international markets.
  • Develop and execute a scalable business development strategy to drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles—from lead generation to deal closure—for B2B technology product solutions and e-commerce tech solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across marketplaces, aggregators, and enterprise clients.
  • Analyze emerging market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and client success teams to optimise solution positioning and client retention.
  • Establish sales metrics, conversion funnels, and performance dashboards for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking platforms to build brand visibility and credibility.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in e-commerce, B2B technology product solutions, or digital technology sectors.
  • Proven success in selling tech-enabled solutions to medium or large-scale enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace ecosystems (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Nykaa, etc.) and their operational dynamics.
  • Experience in creating scalable sales frameworks and using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment with minimal supervision.
