Job Title: Service Advisor

Department: After-Sales / Service Location: Thane

Job Purpose:

To act as the bridge between customers and the workshop, ensuring smooth vehicle service operations by understanding customer concerns, preparing accurate job cards, coordinating repairs, and delivering vehicles with complete satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and understand their vehicle service/repair requirements.
  • Prepare job cards with accurate details of customer complaints and vehicle condition.
  • Provide cost estimates, service options, and get customer approval.
  • Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repairs.
  • Regularly update customers on the progress and additional requirements if any.
  • Conduct final inspection with the workshop team before vehicle delivery.
  • Explain the work carried out, final invoice, and maintenance tips to customers.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Maintain service records and ensure timely follow-up for repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 23 years experience as Service Advisor in automobile industry (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, repair processes, and workshop systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, DMS / CRM).
  • Ability to work under pressure with problem-solving attitude.

  • Customer satisfaction index (CSI).
  • Job card accuracy & quality of complaint capture.
  • Upselling of value-added services.
  • On-time delivery of vehicles.
  • Repeat business & customer retention.
