Role Overview

We're looking for a motivated Backend Developer
to enhance and expand our existing backend system. The architecture is already in place — your role will focus on developing new features, optimising performance, and integrating APIs with our frontend.

This is a
task-based, part-time role
designed for fresh or early-career developers eager to sharpen their backend skills while contributing to a live, impactful product.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement new backend features on our existing

    (and
    TypeScript
    ) platform.
  • Improve current system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Work with database — schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
  • Deploy and maintain services on
    AWS infrastructure
    .
  • Collaborate with the team to define tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

  • + TypeScript proficiency
    — solid understanding of backend development and API design.
  • PostgreSQL experience
    — capable of working with structured data efficiently.
  • AWS familiarity
    — comfort with EC2, S3, VPC, SNS for deployment and maintenance.
  • Ownership mindset
    — responsible, consistent, and able to work independently.
  • Learning attitude
    — we value curiosity and a willingness to grow more than years of experience.
