Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Chennai. This full-time position requires 1 to 3 years of work experience in the insurance sector. The role involves engaging with clients to promote and sell insurance products and services, utilizing effective sales strategies and knowledge of the insurance market to meet and exceed sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software for maintaining and leveraging client information.
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns designed to effectively reach and convert target audiences.
  • Skilled in using lead generation tools to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance products, enabling confident communication of their benefits to clients.
  • Adept at negotiation techniques to facilitate mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to industry standards and practices.
  • Experience with cold calling strategies to proactively build a client base and drive sales growth.
  • Strong networking and relationship building abilities to foster long-term client engagement and loyalty.

  • Negotiate terms of insurance policies, aiming for the best possible deals for clients and the company.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and relevant regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and growth targets.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, analyzing performance to refine sales approaches.
