Senior Sales Engineer – Telco GSI

We have an opportunity for a Senior Sales Engineer – Telco GSI to join our Global System Integrators team, based in New Delhi or Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Manager of Partner Sales Engineer APJ. In this pivotal role, you will be focusing on creating joint offers with strategic GSI and Service Provider (SP) partners to deliver innovative solutions to their customers. This is a "sell-with/sell-through" position where you will drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and outcomes in collaboration with key Telco partners. You will lead the design and implementation of advanced IT solutions, provide strategic architectural guidance, and oversee the successful deployment of complex projects. At Infoblox, you will be able to thrive in a unique work environment that emphasizes career growth, excellence, innovation, and collaboration.     

Be a Contributor - What You'll do

  • Develop technical partner engagement plans that align with Infoblox's global and regional priorities, focusing on enablement and strategic growth
  • Collaborate closely with regional business managers, solutions architects, and account sales teams to drive partner awareness and technical enablement across joint solution offerings, sales plays, and GTM campaigns
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align Infoblox technologies with the GSI Telco operating model and GTM strategies, maximizing joint business opportunities
  • Build and nurture relationships with GSI Telco technical teams supporting global operations, including COEs, solutions architects, presales, tender teams and delivery organizations
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to GSI Telcos, providing expert guidance on network, cloud, and security architectures, and leading the design, validation and deployment of mission-critical systems across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises environments 
  • Ensure successful customer outcomes by delivering best practices for solution implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving challenges that impact GSI Telcos and their customer ecosystems
  • Conduct technical training sessions, workshops, and solution demonstrations to empower and upskill GSI Telco technical teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as required to support partner engagements and field activities

Be Prepared - What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture or channel presales, with a focus on IT networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
  • At least 5 years of experience engaging with or supporting GSI Telcos or leading technology partners with a strong grasp of the GSI ecosystem
  • Proven expertise and relevant certifications in network architecture, security frameworks, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of security threats and mitigation strategies within complex network architecture
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate business, product and technical challenges effectively
  • Highly motivated and positive attitude, with strong prioritization skills in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Self-starter capable of working independently, aligning with business goals, and leading technical discussions
  • Flexibility to work during US time zone hours
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem-solver with ability to design innovative solutions that address customer business needs and value chains
  • Comfortable in a start-up culture, with a hands-on approach and willingness to take initiative and get things done

Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and stakeholders that rely on your work.

Six Months: Demonstrate deep expertise in architectural principles to craft effective technical strategies and identify optimal Infoblox solutions that address customer needs. Confidently lead PoC sessions, webinars, and articulate the value proposition, while building trusted relationships with partners and customers. Actively contribute to pipeline growth by aligning solutions with business objectives.

One Year: Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa, while combining technical expertise with strong leadership to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Drive successful solution delivery by removing obstacles and maintaining project momentum.
