Role & responsibilities

The Marketing Manager (or Marketing Engineer) Export Division is

responsible for developing and executing international marketing strategies to

expand the companys global footprint. The ideal candidate will possess a

strong background in international marketing, preferably in the manufacturing

or engineering sector, with a focus on B2B marketing. This role involves

market research, customer development, product promotion, and

coordination with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution

of export orders and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Analysis

  2. Identify and analyze potential international markets, competitors, and

industry trends.

  • Conduct market feasibility studies and identify new business

opportunities.

  • Monitor export regulations, tariffs, and international trade policies.

  • Business Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with overseas clients, agents, and

distributors.

  • Prepare and present marketing proposals, quotations, and product

information to international clients.

  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual marketing events.

  • Marketing Strategy & Promotion

  • Plan and implement global marketing campaigns aligned with company

objectives.

  • Develop product positioning and branding strategies for target markets.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives (B2B websites, LinkedIn campaigns,

email marketing).

  1. Sales Coordination

  2. Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure

timely execution of export orders.

  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with international buyers.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic sales and marketing

reports.

  1. Technical & Product Support (for Marketing Engineer role)

  2. Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.

  3. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to customize products

based on client requirements.

  • Translate technical product data into marketing material and

documentation.

Export Marketing Focus:

Focus on building marketing initiatives that specifically target the

export market. Work closely with the international customers to ensure

targeted marketing strategies are effective.

International Travel & Negotiation:

Possess a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally. Meet with

customers abroad, lead negotiations, and secure orders. Represent the

company in face-to-face meetings with international clients and distributors to

drive sales growth.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in /Mechanical Engineering.
  • MBA in Marketing or International Trade preferred.

Experience:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in international marketing or export sales

(preferably in manufacturing or engineering sector).


• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of international marketing and export markets.
  • Strong understanding of global trade practices and export

documentation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage

relationships with global clients.

  • Ability to analyze market data, trends, and competitive landscapes

to make strategic decisions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing automation

tools.

  • Ability to travel internationally.


• Languages:

Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is

a plus, especially those spoken in key export markets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


• Growth in export sales and market share.


• Number of new international clients acquired.


• Customer retention and satisfaction levels.


• Timely execution of export orders.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
