JOKER AND WITCH is a New-Age Watch & Jewellery brand for men & women, offering minimal, unique and trend-setting global styles at affordable prices. Our product designs are inspired by international trends, celebrity looks, and high street styles. TEEJH is an Ethnic Jewelry brand fully owned by its sister concern JOKER AND WITCH. We are a start-up based out of Bangalore with an enthusiastic young team and are looking for candidates who are ambitious, problem solvers and most importantly, hungry for enormous learning.

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Lead of Brand Marketing & PR who specializes in modern, fast-paced content marketing strategies and organic growth tactics. This role is crucial for enhancing our brand positioning, reach and driving consumer engagement through dynamic and strategic marketing approaches.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing all the brand marketing activities for Joker & Witch and Teejh along with driving key alliances, Influencer strategy, PR, offline marketing etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.    Brand Strategy & Marketing:

Develop and execute a holistic Brand marketing strategy in accordance with the Brand DNA and be the guardian for a strict adherence to brand communication and brand book guidelines.

Drive organic marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement without reliance on paid advertising. Develop strategies that leverage SEO, social media, brand collaborations and other channels to grow organic reach effectively.

Define and refine Joker & Witch and Teejh's brand positioning within the D2C landscape, ensuring that our brands stand out in a competitive market and resonates deeply with our consumer base.

Oversee the development of marketing materials, blogs and brand messages across platforms.

2.    Social Media & Content Marketing:

Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive high-velocity content marketing strategy, focusing on creating and disseminating engaging, relevant, and topical content that resonates with our target audiences, increases brand awareness and fosters community growth across all platforms. Ensure content is optimized for both speed of production and impact.

Manage social media content calendars, planning and executing engaging videos and posts to maintain a consistent and impactful brand presence on all platforms.

Ideate & create high-quality, original content for Instagram & other social channels, ranging from fashion tips & trends, category and product awareness, contests, behind-the-scenes, and visually appealing creative Instagram posts etc

Monitor social media analytics, track performance metrics, and leverage insights to optimize content strategy, improve engagement, and drive channel growth.

Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices for content creation and collaboration to continuously innovate and enhance the brand's presence on the platforms.

3.    Influencer Marketing:

Lead influencer marketing activities for both brands including campaign ideation, influencer onboarding, managing existing influencers and execution of end to end campaigns.

Cultivate relationships with fashion influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors to collaborate on Instagram & youtube to amplify brand's message and reach new audiences.

Evaluate & onboard influencer marketing agencies to ensure wider reach for the brand's communication

Lead influencer & celebrity gifting activities during festive season.

4.    Brand Alliances & Collaborations :

Lead, negotiate & execute strategic brand partnerships & collaborations, co-branded content campaigns, and joint promotional initiatives on social mediums, website and other properties to maximize brand exposure, drive customer acquisition and generate buzz in the industry.

5.    Media & PR-

-     Lead the entire media & PR alliance in coordination with an agency and internal stakeholders.

6.    Creative Supervision
:

-    Work very closely with the creative lead to ensure that brand creatives and communications are

strongly aligned with overall organizational goals.

-     Work with the digital marketing team to ensure the right selection of creatives, videos and copy for brand ads, whatsapp and email communications.

Team Management:

Lead and inspire a young team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Work closely with internal marketing and creative teams to craft and execute marketing campaigns that align with our brand's voice and goals.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and merchandising teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business objectives across all content formats.

8.    Market Research
:

Analysis of the competition, and to devise/create key benchmarking indicators and/or competitive reports to stay ahead of the competitive curve.

Desired Candidate Profile:

years of Brand Marketing experience in verticals such as fashion, retail, luxury goods, beauty, food or E-Commerce.

2.   Expertise in developing and implementing effective content marketing and organic growth

strategies.

3.  Excellent understanding and execution of Brand & marketing communication concepts.

4.   Strong creative aesthetics and awareness of fashion industry.

5.  Strong experience working with marketing/advertising agencies, overseeing campaign development

and execution, and ensuring consistent brand messaging

6.   Possesses a "hands-on" approach and an ability to multitask in a fast paced start up environment

7.    Proficient in Creative suites such as Adobe photoshop, Illustrator, Corel draw etc

8.   Excellent communication & negotiation skills, essential for building internal and external

relationships.

9. Deep understanding of brand positioning strategies, particularly within the D2C domain.

10.  Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a dynamic marketing team.

11.  Candidates based out of Bangalore, and willing to join immediately will be given preference

12.  Bachelor degree required, NIFT & MBA graduates will be given preference.
