Business Strategy lead - MD's OfficeOverviewThe Business Strategy lead will closely with the MD and Country Head, Engie India- to execute strategic priorities, streamline operations, and maintain organisational alignment. Acting as the MD's strategic partner, this role focuses on executive enablement, translating leadership vision into action and supporting high-impact decisions while ensuring smooth organisational operations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & ExecutionWork closely with the MD to set and implement organisation and Business strategyOversee cross-functional projects and ensure departmental alignment.Frequent collaborations with teams and rigorously track goal progressRegular leadership reportingExecutive Support & AdvisoryProvide input and support to the MD on key decisions. Serve as a sounding board and strategic advisor, based on the data analytics and market scenarioPrepare agendas, reports, presentations and minutes for both internal and external stakeholders.Follow up on action items and hold stakeholders accountableRepresent the MD in meetings and communications as required.Operational ExcellenceOptimise internal processes for greater efficiency and informed decision-makingOversee special projects and high-priority initiatives from start to finishSupport communication between the executive team and the wider organisationKey skills & QualificationsProven experience (7+ years) in strategy, operations, consulting, or executive leadershipExperience working directly with C-level executivesMBA or equivalent advanced degree preferredExceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentStrong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skillsAbility to see the big picture and align operations with long-term goals.Expertise in managing complex, cross-functional initiativesStrong written and verbal skills to support executive messaging.Skilled at navigating relationships across all levels of the organizationTrusted with sensitive information and executive decisionsReports to: MD Renewables & Country Manager IndiaLocation: PuneBusiness Unit: GBU Renewables & Flexible PowerDivision: REN AMEA - IndiaLegal Entity: ENGIE Energy India Private LimitedProfessional Experience: Skilled ( >3 experience
