Oracle HCM Technical Consultant

Job Description :We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Oracle HCM Technical Consultants to join our dynamic team in either Chennai or Bangalore. As a key member of our consulting practice, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud, specifically focusing on Core HR, Absences, and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) modules. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle HCM solutions for our clients.

• Possess an in-depth understanding of the Oracle HCM Cloud data model, with a strong focus on the Core HR, Absences, and OTL modules.

This includes a thorough understanding of table structures, relationships, and data flow within and between these modules.

• Demonstrate a good understanding of core HR processes (e.g., employee lifecycle, organization management, position management), absence management processes (e.g., accruals, requests, approvals), and OTL processes (e.g., time entry, validation, approvals, integration with payroll).
• Exhibit expertise in the Oracle HCM data model and the flow of data across various business processes related to Core HR, Absences, and OTL.
• This includes understanding how data is created, updated, and utilized throughout the system.
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in writing complex Oracle HCM SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

This includes a strong understanding of database concepts, query optimization, and data manipulation techniques.

• Possess expert-level skills in developing reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).

This includes designing report layouts, creating data models, writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, and implementing security and delivery options.

• Participate in the technical design of Oracle HCM solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and configure technical components, including reports, interfaces, and data conversions, as needed.
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of Oracle HCM implementations, including data migration, system configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Provide ongoing technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
• Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, data mappings, and report specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud features, functionalities, and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle HCM Technical Consultant, with a focus on Core HR, Absences, and OTL modules.
• Proven experience in understanding the Oracle HCM Cloud data model for Core HR, Absences, and OTL.
• Solid understanding of business processes related to Core HR, Absences, and OTL.
• Expertise in Oracle HCM SQL, including the ability to write complex and efficient queries.
• Expert-level proficiency in developing reports using Oracle BIP and OTBI.
• Experience with data migration and integration concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
