We are looking for a skilled Chinese Head Chef with 8 to 12 years of experience to lead our culinary team in the Hotels & Restaurants industry.
Roles and Responsibility
- Develop and implement innovative menus showcasing expertise in Chinese cuisine.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to maintain consistency in taste and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular menu costing and inventory management to optimize resources.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in the Hotels & Restaurants industry.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and manage a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and technology, including point-of-sale systems.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, focusing on satisfaction and loyalty.
