Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and fix defects.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using [Selenium/Cypress/Appium/JUnit/Pytest or other tools].
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure software quality.
  • Report, document, and track software defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
  • Experience in security testing and penetration testing.
  • Knowledge of database testing (SQL, MongoDB).
