Manual Test Engineer - Mid-Level QA Engineer – Web Applications

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Mid-level Manual Test Engineer to ensure the quality of our web applications. You will design and execute testing strategies, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that meet performance, usability, and functionality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans covering functionality, usability, performance, and security.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across multiple browsers, devices, and OS platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with teams to review requirements, provide feedback, and ensure testability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve testing processes.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in QA, with 2+ years focused on web applications.
  • Proficiency in API testing (Postman), and database querying.
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web APIs) and browser compatibility.
  • Have experience working with Agile Methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of writing bugs and user stories in ticket.
  • Knowledge of querying Databases.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter), security testing, and BDD frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Bitbucket or other version control systems.
  • Proficiency in test automation (Selenium)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹400,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • QA Manual Testing : 5 years (Preferred)
  • Agile Methodologies, JIRA and Confluence: 4 years (Preferred)
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web APIs and browser compatibility: 4 years (Preferred)
