Job Description

Position: Medical Administrator

Qualification: MBBS + MHA / MD (Hospital Administration) / MBA (Hospital Management)

Experience: 5- 10 years in hospital administration, preferably in a bedded multispeciality hospital

Location: Digdoh, Nagpur, Maharashtra

Salary: No bar for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day clinical and non-clinical hospital operations in a 1000-bedded tertiary care setup.
  • Coordinate between all medical, nursing, paramedical, and support departments to ensure smooth functioning and patient care efficiency.
  • Ensure NABH compliance, statutory adherence, and hospital quality system implementation.
  • Supervise medical staff recruitment, credentialing, rosters, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Support and drive quality assurance, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, handle escalated grievances, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Liaise with management and regulatory authorities for audits, inspections, and statutory reporting.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, hospital budgeting, capacity expansion, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in achieving clinical excellence and administrative efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBBS is mandatory; MHA / MD (Hospital Administration) / MBA (Hospital Management) preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in medical administration within large hospitals.
  • Strong knowledge of NABH standards, quality management systems, and hospital policies.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and coordination skills with clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Proficiency in hospital information systems, audit preparation, and medico-legal documentation.
  • Ability to handle multi-disciplinary teams and drive operational excellence.
