We're Hiring: Performance Marketing Manager
Mumbai | Onsite | Full-time
Illustrake is on the hunt for a
strategic, client-focused, and results-driven Performance Marketing Manager
to spearhead paid media efforts for our fast-growing D2C clients. This role blends deep performance marketing expertise with sharp account management skills owning everything from media strategy to execution, optimization, reporting, and client satisfaction.
As the
primary point of contact for your accounts
, you'll be responsible for turning growth objectives into actionable roadmaps and delivering results across Meta, Google, YouTube, Programmatic, and other digital platforms. You'll collaborate closely with creative, analytics, and web teams to ensure holistic growth strategies and seamless campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Growth Planning
- Develop and execute full-funnel paid marketing strategies across platforms like
Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, marketplaces, and affiliates
. - Partner with clients and internal leadership to define
performance roadmaps, CAC goals, ROAS benchmarks, and scale plans
. - Identify new opportunities for client growth through budget optimization, funnel improvements, and market trends.
2. Campaign & Account Management
- Lead the end-to-end execution of campaigns: from planning and audience segmentation to
daily optimizations and performance tracking
. - Own campaign structures, budgets, bid strategies, landing page funnels, and conversion tracking.
- Analyze and adapt campaign performance with ongoing A/B testing across creatives, copy, placements, and objectives.
3. Client Communication & Relationship Building
- Serve as the
primary POC
for your set of D2C clients, owning weekly calls, performance reviews, and reporting conversations. - Present insights, performance dashboards, and testing plans clearly and confidently to senior client stakeholders.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through
transparency, education, and proactive problem-solving
.
4. Martech & Analytics Enablement
- Work with the team to implement and maintain
GTM, GA4, Meta CAPI, server-side tagging, and conversion APIs
. - Use tools like
Looker Studio, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics
to build clean dashboards and performance reports. - Contribute to attribution setup, cohort tracking, and blended ROAS reporting.
5. Internal Collaboration & Upskilling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, SEO, creatives, devops, content, to drive aligned campaign goals.
- Share learnings, success playbooks, and optimization strategies to help grow internal knowledge and performance maturity.
- Mentor junior performance executives as needed, ensuring process excellence and campaign hygiene.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of hands-on performance marketing experience in
D2C, eCommerce, or growth-led agency environments
. - Proven success managing paid campaigns across
Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, and affiliate networks
. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and actionable plans.
- Comfort with
reporting tools
, UTM tracking, attribution models, and creative testing frameworks. - Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in or with performance marketing agencies or digital consulting teams.
