Position: Senior Business Development Manager - Natural Stone
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners - Architects, Interior Designer, HNI Clients to grow business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. As a key player in expanding the product lines, the BDM will focus on creating new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, managing key accounts, and executing growth strategies to position CMC as a leader in the market
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's product offerings within the specified regions (Natural Marble, Kalinga, Terrazzo, Porcelain Surfaces).
- Build and execute strategic plans to drive growth and market presence across these product lines, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Generate business through Architects, Interior Designers& if required with Contractors, Builders.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee key account management to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing models that support business objectives.
- Manage the sales process, from lead generation to contract signing, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals.
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies and enhance CMC's market positioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8 - 15 years' prior industry within the building materials industry (marble, granite, tiles, ceramics, sanitary ware, etc.).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen with expertise in market analysis, strategy development, and sales execution.
- In-depth understanding of the building materials industry, including Natural Marble, Kalinga, Terrazzo, and Porcelain Surfaces.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business expansion and client engagement.
