Reports To: Director of Sales / Head of Media

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Media Sales Manager to lead our media sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media advertising sales (digital, print, broadcast, or out-of-home), excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the media landscape. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and delivering revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the media sales team.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with agencies, brands, and direct clients.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closing, and account management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to develop compelling media offerings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Generate and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in media sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of media platforms (digital, print, radio, TV, out-of-home).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a media agency, publisher, or ad tech company.
  • Existing relationships with media buyers, advertisers, and brands.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, programmatic, social media).
