The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. You will assist the Executive Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team during food preparation and service.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Train, mentor, and monitor junior kitchen staff.
  • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for kitchen supplies.
  • Innovate and contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
  • Maintain equipment and manage kitchen cleanliness and organization.
  • Step in for the Head Chef when required and handle kitchen operations smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and inventory management.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for food innovation and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy shifts.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
