We are looking for a skilled Chef De Partie with 2 to 8 years of experience to join our team at JW Marriott. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and be able to work well under pressure.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage inventory of food supplies and ingredients, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
- Ensure compliance with quality control measures, such as taste testing and portion control.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen setup.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
