We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Authorizations Consultant to manage and enhance user access and security within a complex SAP landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and managing GCC SAP Authorization team, designing and maintaining user roles, executing SOX ITGC controls, and ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with business key users, IT functional and technical teams, and developers to address security needs and implement process improvements, including automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include providing audit evidence, preparing procedural documentation, conducting internal training sessions, and managing change requests related to IT security and business requirements. This role requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, a strong focus on compliance, and the ability to drive efficiency through process optimization.

You will work closely with the SAP Security Expert to ensure smooth operations and strict adherence to compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Supervising GCC SAP Authorization Team.
• Producing weekly & monthly report.
• Plans operations and teams' improvement.
• Weekly meeting with SAP Security Expert & SAP Basis & Authorization Manager.
• Making sure all documentation updates by the GCC SAP Authorization team from Knowledge Transfer or daily operations support.
• User Administration and Access Management:
• Manage user accounts and develop roles within the extensive SAP landscape. Example: SAP S4, CIS -AA, SAP CUA, SAP CIS, SAP GRC.
• Execute SOX ITGC controls (e.g., user termination, IT restricted access, user access reviews, shared and generic accounts) and oversee remediation and retrospective analysis in collaboration with business teams.
• Automate processes, such as deactivating inactive user accounts.

Audit and Compliance:

• Provide required documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
• Perform SOX ITGC control activities (e.g., user termination, IT restricted access, user access reviews, shared and generic accounts) and ensure compliance through remediation and retrospective reviews in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with key business users to address requirements and resolve issues.
• Work closely with IT functional teams, SAP Security Expert and developers to implement solutions.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Prepare and maintain procedural documentation.
• Conduct internal training sessions and knowledge transfers (KTs).
• Change Management:
• Manage the change process for IT security and business-related requests.

Required Technical Competencies:

• Have a minimum 3 years' experience of managing a team (minimum 5 people in the team).
• Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including Basis, functional consultants, and developers, to implement security measures without disrupting business operations.
• Identifying critical tasks and focusing efforts on high-impact activities.
• Ensuring accuracy in role configurations, user assignments, and compliance checks.
• Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for security configurations, procedures, and audits.
• Proficiency in creating and managing roles using transaction codes like PFCG, ensuring appropriate access controls across various SAP modules.
• Expertise in user provisioning and de-provisioning, managing user master records, and assigning roles to users.
• Segregation of Duties (SoD) Analysis: Ability to identify and mitigate conflicts in user roles that could lead to errors.
• Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools to manage user access, perform risk analysis, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Conducting regular audits (audit logs, user change documents, dbtablog)
• Preferred Technical Competencies:
• Implementing and managing social sector office solutions to enhance user experience while maintaining security.
• Experience in SAP GRC (Access Control, Audit Management), SAP CIS (Cloud Identity Services)
• Configuring and managing authorizations for Fiori applications, including catalog and group assignments.
• Experience in BW authorization and Hana database authorization.
• Requirements: Degree: Degree in IT, Computer Science or Business Administration preferred
• Experience: 7 years of experience in SAP Authorizations
