
Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with Colleges and Universities to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions across India.
- Drive B2B business development initiatives to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with institutional stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches to promote the company's products, services, or programs.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities in the education sector.
- Negotiate and finalize business deals, ensuring profitable and sustainable partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product) to deliver customized solutions to institutional partners.
- Track, report, and analyze sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
Key Requirments:
- Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years in business development, sales, or partnerships within the
education industry
. - Proven track record of successful B2B engagement with
colleges, universities, and higher education institutions
. - Strong network and relationships with decision-makers in the education sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of the education market landscape.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
