Hunk Food is an emerging food startup aiming to bring the vibrant street food culture into organized retail and hypermarkets. Our model is built on collaborating with skilled street food vendors and scaling them into a structured, brand-led ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are hiring for a Founding Team – Head of Operations. This is a leadership position designed for someone who wants to play a central role in building and scaling a food business from the ground up. The role begins as an operational leadership position, with a clear pathway to transition into equity partnership and co-founder responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across stalls, vendors, and hypermarket locations
  • Build, hire, and manage operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
  • Develop business expansion strategies with the founding team
  • Take ownership of execution, scaling, and performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Must be based in Lucknow (mandatory)
  • Graduate degree (minimum requirement)
  • 3+ years of experience in F&B, food operations, or street food business
  • Strong leadership and hiring skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to dedicate full-time effort to building a startup
