Our engineering division is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager..

Job Purpose

  • Proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our engineering services sector (Basic & Detailed Engineering).
  • The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop strategies to expand our market presence.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare business plan to focus and achieve
  • Prepare sales budget, cash-flow
  • Develop a strong CRM/pipeline tracker, Project tracker along with team members
  • Pro-actively identify new clients/sales from the country
  • Meeting prospective Engineering clients for Basic & Detailed Engineering business (both India & International)
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and communicate service capabilities
  • Develop & recommend growth strategic plans to Senior Management to enhance the value of organization
  • Research on identifying new opportunities to maximize use of company assets and services
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly reports
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Ready to travel– other duties as assigned

MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration or Engineering Graduate

Minimum of 8+ years' experience from Engineering Business Development/Sales

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven working experience in Business Development (Basic & Detailed Engineering)
  • Must exercise confidential discretion
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Good Negotiation Skills
  • Time management & planning skills
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
