We are looking for a passionate Corporate HR & People Development Leader who will drive capability building, engagement, performance and HR excellence across our plants.
Role Overview
To design, lead and implement people strategies that foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee experience and drive leadership & organizational capability building.
The role will focus on Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Engagement and HR Excellence across all Plant units.
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Talent & Leadership Development
Drive leadership development programs, succession planning and talent pipeline creation.
Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and design learning interventions.
Implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for high-potential employees.
- Organizational Development & Culture
Champion organizational values, culture-building initiatives and change management programs.
Conduct engagement surveys, analyze results and drive action planning with business leaders.
Lead diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.
- Learning & Capability Building
Conduct Training Needs Identification (TNI) through performance reviews, manager feedback and skill gap analysis.
Develop annual learning calendars in alignment with business needs.
Implement blended learning solutions (classroom, digital, e-learning, coaching, mentoring).
Measure training effectiveness through impact assessments and business outcomes.
- Performance & Career Management
Strengthen performance management systems (goal setting, reviews, and feedback).
Ensure transparent career progression and internal mobility frameworks.
Drive competency mapping and career architecture across levels.
- HR Excellence & Governance
Design HR policies, frameworks, and guidelines aligned with corporate governance.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
Leverage HR technology and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Labor Cost & Workforce Analytics
Analyze labor cost variances against budget and provide detailed reports to management.
Collaborate with Finance & Operations teams for manpower forecasting and productivity optimization.
Monitor absenteeism, overtime and workforce deployment to manage cost efficiency.
- Digital Transformation
Drive HR process automation, dashboards and predictive analytics for decision-making.
Develop real-time dashboards to track HR KPIs (attrition, hiring, training hours, engagement).
Support HR digitalization initiatives in collaboration with IT and external vendors.
- Compensation & Benefits
Oversee payroll and salary administration with accuracy and compliance.
Manage pay structures, CTC revisions and benchmarking studies.
Handle group gratuity schemes, bonus administration and related statutory compliances.
Collaborate with Finance for audits, reconciliations and reporting.
Preferred candidate profile
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Training Design, Facilitation and Evaluation.
- Data-driven mindset with HR Analytics and Dashboard reporting skills.
- Knowledge of HRIS/HRMS platforms and digital HR tools.
- Sound understanding of PMS, labor cost management and workforce planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- High integrity, compliance orientation and ability to drive cultural change.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- 1218 years of progressive HR experience, with minimum 5+ years in L&D / Performance Management / HR Strategy.
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering / heavy industries preferred.
