Key Job Accountabilities:
- USA Voice Process Position.
- Must have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with a pleasing and professional demeanor.
- Explain billing statements, insurance claims, and any discrepancies to patients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Provide compassionate customer service by addressing patient concerns, questions, and complaints regarding billing issues.
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy in billing and reimbursement processes.
- Collaborate with medical billing specialists and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and claims denials.
- Document all patient interactions, payment arrangements, and billing inquiries accurately in the billing system.
- Follow up with patients regarding payment commitments, overdue accounts, and past-due balances.
- Educate patients on available financial assistance programs, payment plans, and eligibility criteria.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and always maintain patient confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service/ customer handling.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and billing software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims processes, and billing procedures preferred.
