
F&b Cost Controller

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and beverage items.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accurate stock counts.
- Manage inventory purchasing processes to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- **Cost Control**:
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly food and beverage costs.
- Implement and maintain cost control systems to monitor waste and reduce expenses.
- Work with kitchen and service teams to identify areas where costs can be reduced without compromising quality.
- **Supplier and Purchase Management**:
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor the market for price trends, negotiate better deals, and ensure timely procurement of goods.
- Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests.
- **Financial Reporting**:
- Prepare detailed cost reports for food and beverages to assist management in pricing strategies.
- Review and analyze profitability on menu items.
- Work closely with the finance team to provide accurate data for budgeting and forecasting.
- **Compliance and Quality Control**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage storage.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure that inventory usage aligns with company standards and policies.
- **Menu Engineering**:
- Collaborate with chefs and the marketing team to evaluate and recommend changes to the menu, ensuring profitability.
- Analyze sales trends and menu performance to suggest pricing adjustments or menu item changes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in food and beverage cost control, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and regulations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
