Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Duty Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, trailers, bulldozers, excavators, and other specialized equipment. Your primary objective will be to transport materials, equipment, and goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate heavy-duty vehicles and equipment according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Transport materials, equipment, and goods to and from job sites or designated locations.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures are followed.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance activities, and trip logs.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to coordinate work activities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles on public roads.
- Assist with other duties on job sites as needed, including manual labor and equipment operation.
**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to vehicle operation.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Additional certifications or training related to heavy-duty vehicle operation.
- Prior experience in the [specific industry or sector] industry.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques.
**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
