Job Summary:

The Heavy Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment between sites. The driver must ensure timely delivery, proper vehicle maintenance, and adherence to traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy vehicles such as dump trucks, trailers, tankers, or other company-assigned vehicles.
  • Transport materials, machinery, or products to designated locations safely and efficiently.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness (brakes, lights, oil, tires, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and fuel consumption reports.
  • Adhere to all local traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
  • Assist with vehicle loading and unloading as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicle.
  • Follow route plans, schedules, and instructions provided by the logistics team.

Requirements:

  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Saudi / GCC or International).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy vehicle driver.
  • Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and understand delivery documents and instructions.
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours when required.
  • Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
