- **Section Management**: Oversee the assigned section, ensuring consistent quality and timely service.
- **Inventory and Waste Management**: Manage stock levels, control waste, and ensure proper storage.
- **Hygiene and Safety**: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- **Menu Development**: Assist in creating new dishes and menu items.
- **Training and Mentorship**: May train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
- **Assisting the CDP**: Support the CDP in all tasks related to section management and food production.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure dishes are prepared to the required standards.
- **Safety and Hygiene**: Adhere to food safety and hygiene procedures.
- **Efficiency**: Contribute to the efficiency of the kitchen operation.
- **Learning and Development**: Gain experience in various cooking techniques and restaurant operations.
- **Support Staff**: Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
- **Stock Control**: Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**: Assist with cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and equipment.
