**Role Summary**

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching, clinical supervision, research, and providing administrative support within the Nursing program at Acharya Institutes, The role requires a dedicated professional with a strong academic background and practical clinical experience to train the next generation of competent nursing professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:

1. **Teaching & Academics:

- **
- **Curriculum Development**: Assist in the planning, organization, and evaluation of the curriculum and teaching programs in accordance with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and university guidelines.
- **Assessment:

- **Prepare, administer, and grade examinations, assignments, and practical assessments to evaluate student learning and progression.
- **Clinical Supervision:

- **Supervise students during their clinical postings in affiliated hospitals/healthcare settings, ensuring they achieve required clinical competencies and standards of patient care.

2. **Research & Professional Development**
- **Research Engagement:

- **Engage in research activities, including supervising student research projects and pursuing personal research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- **Seminars/Workshops:

- **Participate in and present at professional conferences, seminars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs to stay updated on advancements in nursing practice and education.

3. **Institutional & Administrative Duties**
- **Mentorship:

- **Mentor and guide students on academic, professional, and personal matters.
- **Accreditation Support:

- **Actively participate in institutional and departmental activities related to NAAC, INC, and other accreditation processes.
- **Administrative Tasks:

- **Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the HOD or Principal, such as committee work, student counseling, and departmental coordination.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**

**M.Sc. (Nursing)** is mandatory.

**Pre-Requisite Education B.Sc. (Nursing)** ,

**Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience** as a Faculty/assistant Professor /Clinical Instructor in a recognized Nursing College/Institution.

**Preferred Qualification Ph.D. in Nursing** or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is highly preferred.

**Skills:

- **Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and pedagogical skills. Strong clinical knowledge and practical demonstration abilities ,
