**Job Title: Assistant Professor in Paediatric Nursing**

**Qualification: MSc Paediatric Nursing preferably with Ph.D. and more than 5 years of teaching experience.**

**Responsible for**:
Plan and co-ordinate with other faculty members in the department for implementation of curriculum both Theory / Clinical.

Arrange clinical affiliation as per budgetary provisions.

Supervise other faculty.

Maintain anecdotal notes about Faculty performance.

Plan and conduct prescribed tests / examination as per RGUHS criteria.

Maintain internal assessment records and makes it available for Scrutiny.

Assign the Lectures/ Clinical area for supervision to faculty.

Maintain all relevant records like attendance and absenteeism.

**Duties and Functions**:
Update procedure manual periodically.

Incorporate innovative teaching learning activities.

Develops appropriate teaching aids to impart quality education.

Teach in the classroom, laboratory and clinical areas.

Keep anecdotal records of students’ performance in laboratory and clinical areas

Record performance in written examination.

Act as a role model in clinical practice and classroom activities.

Co-operate with faculty, student body and advisory board in program advancement.

Participate in organizing Extra-curricular activities.

Offers guidance and counselling to the students and conducts mentorship program

Participate as a member on various Education /Administration committee of the institution.

Participate in various Continuing Education Program and Professional Conferences.

Supervise and teach Nursing students in classroom, laboratory and clinical practice.

Delivering lectures for under graduate and postgraduate by using innovative teaching methods.

Guiding students for research activities.

Evaluating the students in both theory and practical.

Counselling the student.

Conducting the research based on the need in the current scenario.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
