**Job Title**: Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Nursing,

Nelamangala, Bengaluru

**Qualification**: MSc in Psychiatric Nursing with 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed College of Nursing.

**Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development**: Developing and updating the curriculum for psychiatric nursing programs, ensuring it meets the latest standards and best practices in psychiatric nursing education.

**Classroom Instruction**: Delivering lectures, leading discussions, and facilitating learning experiences in classroom and clinical settings. Providing instruction on topics such as mental health assessment, therapeutic communication, psychiatric disorders, pharmacology, and evidence-based practices in psychiatric nursing.

**Clinical Supervision**: Supervising and guiding nursing students during their clinical placements in psychiatric settings, providing feedback on their performance, and assessing their competency in providing safe and effective psychiatric nursing care.

**Evaluation and Assessment**: Designing and implementing assessments to evaluate students' knowledge, skills, and clinical competence in psychiatric nursing. Providing constructive feedback and grading assignments, exams, and clinical performance evaluations.

**Mentoring and Advising**: Providing mentorship, academic advising, and career guidance to nursing students, including assisting with their academic and professional development, facilitating research projects, and supporting their transition from students to professionals in psychiatric nursing.

**Research and Scholarship**: Engaging in scholarly activities, such as conducting research, publishing research findings, and presenting at conferences, to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and evidence-based practice in psychiatric nursing.

**Professional Development**: Maintaining current knowledge and expertise in psychiatric nursing through continuous professional development, attending workshops, conferences, and staying updated with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in the field.

**Administration and Service**: Participating in departmental meetings, serving on committees, and contributing to program development, accreditation, and quality improvement efforts. Collaborating with colleagues, nursing organizations, and other stakeholders to promote excellence in psychiatric nursing education.

**Collaboration and Interprofessional Education**: Collaborating with other faculty members and healthcare professionals from different disciplines to promote interprofessional education and collaborative care in the management of psychiatric disorders. Facilitating interdisciplinary learning experiences to develop students' skills in working effectively within interprofessional teams.

**Ethical and Professional Conduct**: Modelling and promoting professional ethics, standards, and values in psychiatric nursing, and instilling ethical and professional principles in nursing students. Upholding professional standards of conduct, practice, and confidentiality, and adhering to institutional policies and regulations.
