IT Business Partner

**Business Partner IT** **_- Key Country India_**

**Purpose of the role**:

- Function as IT Business Partner for all sites incumbent is responsible:

- to guarantee and operate the standard Group IT services for the locations,
- to operate an optimized country IT organization across the current IT teams and functions,
- to operate the local IT infrastructure and systems in an efficient and optimized way.
- to implement Oerlikon IT strategies, policies, and standards.
- Act as a country IT Business Partner, incumbent is responsible to oversee timely delivery of quality technical support to internal customers, to manage help desk personnel (with support from 1st Level Service Management team) and develop policies and procedures governing how to troubleshoot IT issues.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Establishing and maintaining a close relationship with the various business units with a weighting of 70% management and 30% operational.
- Advising and supporting business units in identifying IT solutions.
- Cooperation with the IT department, for the development and implementation of the IT strategy and architecture, including monitoring of the implementation.
- Ensuring compliance and security standards in the IT area.
- Management and coordination of the activities of the service desk staff, including support in finding solutions.
- Participation in the development of service desk ticketing processes and tools as well as their implementation in the Oerlikon organization.
- Manage and organize site-related IT projects.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT operations for responsible sites.
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
- Audit sites and related systems and assess their outcomes.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for all sites.

**Required education, experience, knowledge**:

- Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in implementing / working with an ERP (SAP / Navision is preferred).
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience with a multinational.
- Good knowledge of common IT technologies and ITSM.

**Required skills & expertise**:

- Sound professional experience as an IT Business Partner or in a comparable position.
- Extensive knowledge of IT strategy development, IT architecture and project management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong solution orientation and strategic thinking to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with different stakeholders at different levels.
- Team-oriented way of working and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
