Prepares, arranges and serves all food according to the standard set by the Executive Chef.
- Does miseen place, preparations, cooking and arranging of food as instructed.
- Coordinates activities of Commis cook and kitchen stewards to ensure an efficient and smooth food service.
- Controls cost by minimizing spoilage, wastage and exercising portion control.
- Handles machines, furniture, equipment and utensils the proper way and maintain their cleanliness.
- Ensure that every staff are assigned at the right place and right time at the different picks of services
- Report up and down the line any incident or matters not following standard, guest complaints, staff incidents, staff not reporting, staff sickness, staff late, non operational equipment, any matters that can disturb the operation and standard of The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino
- Attends training classes, staff meetings and make suggestions for improvement.
- Makes use of standard recipes and presentations set by the chef.
- Takes care of his personnel cleanliness, his uniforms and hotel property.
- Follows and check his sections working schedule as planned and obeys all hotel regulations, schedules and break times of staff an a daily basis.
- Ensure complete guest satisfaction by providing guests with the highest quality foods prepared at The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino standards. control food cost and maintaining hygienic standards according to HACCPTraining and retain excellent chef
- Demonstrate genuine concern for guests well being and satisfaction at all times and always projects a positive image of Zuri group
- Daily menu briefing of lunch and dinner with Sous Chef and Exec. Chef advising Commis I, Commis II & Commis III
- Works with line cooks assigned to station to ensure foods are prepared at The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino standards
- Assists other work stations as necessary to ensure highest quality food is provided to guests.
- Checks all set-ups for various buffets and of service stations ensure proper quality re feeling and set up, prepares show plates.
- Checks room service mis-en-place, quality & quantity set as The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino standard
- Checks special orders and prepares for special functions..
- Prepares highest quality cuisine in accordance with The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino Standards
- Ensures proper storage to maintain quality and prevent waste.
- Ensures proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices are being kept.
- Comply with HACCP cleaning and sanitation standards at all times.
- Ensure proper garbage handling.
- Assists management with training and induction of new personnel.
Undertake all other duties as requested by supervisor
Pay: ₹10,301.80 - ₹30,000.00 per month
