Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)
Job Summary:
The Demi Chef de Partie assists the Chef de Partie (CDP) in managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. This role involves cooking, food preparation, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards under the guidance of the Chef de Partie (CDP).
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menus.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, if necessary.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in kitchen meetings and contribute to menu planning.
- Handle food presentation and plating in accordance with restaurant standards.
Qualifications:
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as a Commis Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for food.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- May require long hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Standing for extended periods.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
