You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Manager and will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists
- Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management and executes upon approval
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms, and conditions
- Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements
- Analyzing and evaluating bids in order to determine the optimal value
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Required with 5-8 years’ experience in the relevant field
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
