This is a Buyer role will be reporting Procurement Manager in Motion Business Area based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for Purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead a sub-team ensuring end to end process of Procure to pay for a Product group within the division operating on customized projects - ensuring availability of all the materials within the planned timelines, this includes all direct materials, Indirect materials, CAPEX and Services
- Maintain and update records related to purchasing involved for the responsible area for easy retrieval and demonstration
- Execute and implement initiatives within the SCM and local division by collaborating with other functions.
- Deliver and participate in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
- Execute effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
- Standardize processes and implement routines as per Group directives & instructions.
- Collaboration with Sourcing, engineering, planning, Quality, Product engineering, project management to ensure seamless operations.

**Your background**:

- BE/Diploma (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical)
- 10+ years of Experience is required.
- Should have good communication skills.
- SAP MM Knowledge is preferred.
- Good team player and able to outstretch their own standards periodically.
