You will be working as Buyer, reporting to Procurement Team Lead and will be part of Motion-Drive products division based in Bangalore. With P2P knowledge, execute material purchase requests, according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures under supervision.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supplier registration and qualification in SAP Ariba. Creation and supplier modification.
- Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management, ensures approved contractual terms in execution.
- Understanding the customer requirement and floating RFQ’s to suppliers to receive quotes. Price negotiation.
- SAP Knowledge is must. Experience on SAP Ariba and Service Now would be an added advantage.
- Track’s goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing as per available guidelines.
- Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and recommends solutions / resolves performance issues within the scope.
- Initiates supply purchase orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
- Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's in any stream.
- Minimum 2 plus years of experience in Procurement buying.
