You will be working as Buyer, reporting to Production Manager for Electrification business area, Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for ensuring purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions
- Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management, and executing upon approval
- Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information
- Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
- Conducting all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in related field
- Experience working for switchgear domain
- Excellent written and oral communication
