You will be working as Buyer and reporting to Project Manager for Electrification business area, Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures

**Your responsibilities**:

- Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice process
- Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues
- Initiating purchase orders in the system, according to the purchase requisition and alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitoring, tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on enterprise resource planning ERP or standard operating procedures SOP or project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
- Conducting all procurement and logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensuring pro supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in pro supply procedure

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling local and Imports procurement
- Must have experience in SAP-MM or PP module
- Experience in switch gear industry is added advantage
