You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement Manager and will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. Finalizing of erection and commissioning orders in line to the scope of work, analyzing the cost, identifying the contractors region wise to enable to get the best price and solve the local issues.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions
- Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management and executes upon approval
- Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information and explore the best way to get the best price with quality and delivery
- Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing
- Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Require 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement
- Experience in E2E buyer activities
- Good knowledge of IT components like hardware / software, servers, workstation, panel integration, fire wall, monitors, networking switches, printers etc
- Strong commercial knowledge in SAP, purchase order terms and conditions, basic taxation, bill accounting, vendor payment terms, bill discounting scheme. Import procurement.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
