**This position reports to**:
Production Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is # LI-Oniste This role is contributing to Our electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for: - Determining the required materials and possibly generating purchase orders, ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient. - Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels. - Develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit. - Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions. - Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries. - Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelor’s degree & field required with minimum of 5 years’ Experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Basic understanding of the types of goods to be purchased.
- Liaising with operations, manufacturing, and purchasing/SCM
