**Operations Technician 5 - Rotational shift - Tiruvallur - INDIA**

**Basic Qualifications**

Diploma graduates in any specialization

Minimum of 4 years of related work experience

Drawing reading skills and Knowledge on MS Office is preferred
- Experience in working with Maintenance Team
- Good Planning, analytical skills & problem-solving skills
- Prior experience is working on Machinery and Tools
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Requires adequate knowledge on general engineering practices.

To be a lead technician/Fitter/Operative who can perform the technical deliverables and guide the members for the technical tasks.
- Should be able to support the lead engineers and customer teams with technical data summarization and reports.
- Should champion shop activities with the strong perspective on safety, quality, compliance, and delivery.
- Should have strong product, system and machine components knowledge, should be able to mentor members with the knowledge.
- Should be forthcoming with ideas for process improvements on the shop and field activities of role
- Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

.Will also be responsible to lead and guide the members in the Maintenance team
- In terms of technical guidance’s, process and operation excellence
- Handling Equipment’s, system & Maintenance to meet the quality, cost and delivery by PM, CBM, MTBF,MTTR.
- Equipment’s Test Report / Line process improvement / cost reduction - Minimum 15 + proposal has to complete.
- Minimum 12 plus safety ideas or proposal must initiate in a year.
- Handling minimum 6 to 7 Service providers and AMC Contractors
- Continues Improvement in terms with quality & safety must initiate.
